Studied at the Poznań Academy of Music under Irena Winiarska, and completed a post graduate course at London's Royal Academy of Music. She attended further seminars at the Internationales Musikseminar in Weimar (1993) and the Verbier Festival and Academie Verbier (1996) as well as master-classes at the Schleswig--Holstein Music Festival, working under such teachers as Fassbaender, Schlick, Ameling, Gedda, Vignoles, Schollum, Esswood and Kirkby. She is a prize winner of the Vocal Competition in Gdańsk (Special Award, 1993), Mozart Competition in Southport (2nd Prize, 1995), Bach Competition in Leipzig (4th Prize and Special Award for the best performance of aria from St. Matthew's Passion, 1998) and was a finalist at the ARD Competition in Munich (1998). She was also the recipient of the 'In Memory of Halina Słonicka' Award of Distinction for the role of Juliet in Bellini's I Capuleti e i Montecchi for Cracow Opera during the 1998-99 season. Her repertoire includes soprano parts in oratorios and cantatas, many arias and songs by various composers from the Baroque to the present day. She has given concert performances in Austria, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland and in London has performed in a concert of early music at the Barbican Centre and in Handel's Messiah at the Church of St. Martin in the Fields. In France she has sung in Mozart's Requiem in the country's most important concert halls as well as the La Madelaine Church in Paris. She has worked with Sinfonia Varsovia, Polish Radio Orchestra, Liverpool Mozart Players and other ensembles and recorded for Radio and Television. She made her debut at the Polish National Opera in the title role of Debussy's Pelléas et Mélisande and also sings Corinna in Rossini's Il viaggio a Reims and Bianca in Puccini's La Rondine.
